I have been out of work since the end of last year and used my savings to pay my mortgage up until March I then appoached the HSE regarding the MIS and was handed the necessary forms and duely had them completed.
I supplied the community welfare officer with all my details almost 4 weeks ago. He was to do a home visit but I'm still waiting. Since I first applied I have paid 2 mortgage instalments and a 3rd is due next week.
Things are really tight now and this mortgage payment will push my over draft to its limit.
Also during this time I have been looking for work and I have indeed secured a job now starting in mid June.
My question is will I still be entitled to the Mortgage interest supplement from when I applied to the time I start work?(this will bring my bank balance back up to the water level) or as I'm still waiting on the HSE to get back to me, will my forthcoming change in circumstance affect the decision?
