I know that they have some mortgage package in the UK for this type of project but dont know if Irish banks will be amenable to this.
If this will be your PPR then maybe they will give you a favourable rate, otherwise will have to settle for the buy to let rates.
Where did you buy ? Interested in doing a similar project in the West of Ireland as a holiday home for myself and holiday rental.
What did your cottage cost and whats the state of repair. A few colleagues who have done similar projects indicate that there are a lot of hidden costs with renovating an old cottage.
