Monsoon Shower pump

Hi guys,

Just looking for some advice. We have been told that we need a replacement shower pump. Current pump is a 2004 2.0 bar Monsoon negative pressure. Anyone know of good websites/suppliers for sourcing this at a reasonable price? And advice at what is a reasonable price? We have been quoted 8-900 euro. Should we go for Monsoon again? Is it normal for the motor to go after 4 1/2 years? Just wondering what the normal lifespan of these should be!

How do you know it's the motor?

They are a very reliable pump and one which I favour.

We had a shower company out that did tell us it was very rare for the motor to go like that but unfortunately that's what they said has happened. Not too expert in these matters ourselves tbh!
