Mobile Trading

Hello,
Can somebody tell me if I have a registered sole trader company can I sell from clothes, jewelery in public places from my van? Do I need some permission from the town council, garda or any other body?

Most local authorities have strict rules about temporary trading stands i.e. vans, carts, trailers etc. Usually only allowed in certain spots and they usually charge a fee.
