Mixing internal and external insulation

Sorry to dredge an old thread but rather than starting something on the same topic...

We internally insulated our house 5 years ago, thankfully no identifiable mould or anything to date...

However we're doing some work currently and for reasons that don't really matter here, we're debating some external insulation to the front of the house. So our walls will be sandwiched in places at the front

Is this ok to do?

There have been more recent threads where the potential issues of this have been discussed, main one being the moving of the dew point internally to the wall where damp and mould issues will result.
