mistake in top-up

Hi - I topped up an 086 phone for a friend and instead of clicking that they are Meteor, I clicked their old provider o2........the money has gone out of my bank account but I am wondering have I any hope of getting it back?......I should have clicked provider Meteor when topping up.......

I did something similar before. I think I rang Vodafone first and explained and then I had to ring the Bank or they rang me to confirm, but in the end the money was put onto the right number.

If you sent it to O2 by mistake, contact O2 and get them to refund it to your bank account. If you don't chase it up, they won't bother.

Do you know any O2 customers that you could sell on the top-up to?

Just tell O2 to credit the top-up amount back to the account it came from.
