J jprender Registered User Messages 84 7 Jan 2007 #3 Re: Miss Court Appearance ? I havent even spoken to a solicitor. I was going to attend court myself and just plead guilty to the offence, but now I can't make it. My kid has been taken into hospital and I cant possibly get to court tomorrow.

If you can at all try to contact the Guard who is bringing the summons against you and explain the circumstances. otherwise I would definately try and have someone appear on your behalf. Good luck with it and I hope you kid is ok.
