Mining Share funds - Anyone invest in them?

Anyone know the typical P/E for the sector. It would appear quite low in the FT for the UK miners (approx 7-10 times earnings).

Anyone know the P/E for the Canadian and other markets?

The Blackrock World Mining Trust plc is probably the best known investment company that specialises in mining stocks worldwide. As it is an investment company rather than a unit fund, you buy it like a share through your stockbroker. It is listed on the London stock exchange. If you stick that name into google (with plc after the name) you should eventually find a dedicated page on that company where you can get a recent factsheet and fund managers report etc.
