Microsoft Word - I think I have made changes to the Normal template?

When I do File>New, the new blank document that opens is not formatted in the standard way.

The cursor is located at the very top of the page, as if there is no margin. Even though in Page Setup, there is a 2.5cm margin.




Can anybody advise? Thanks.

Uninstall and reinstall?

Or maybe close Word, rename Normal.dotm to Normal.dotm.bak, start Word and it should generate a new clean version?

Change the Normal template (Normal.dotm ) - Microsoft Support

Choose a different default template when creating new documents.
