Ive just bought a 'karaoke microphone' (phillips) to practise singing. I have a couple of nice stereo systems - but now discover that there is no port for microphone ( phones only).
Was it a waste of money. do I really need to buy a whole karaoke system? (A friend of mine told me that he bought a mic and when inserted into his stereo system, it silenced the singing so that only the music was audible - so I thought it would be the same for me!)
