Medical Expenses Help - 1st time claimant?

Hello

I've never put in a claim for Medical Expenses relief before (was just talking to someone today about it so said I would look into it).

How many years can I claim back - is it only for 2011? Or can I claim back for previous years? Is there a deadline for claiming back previous years?

So I can claim back a percentage of doctors/consultant fees? Prescription medicines prescribed by a doctor or dentist? Obviously, I can only claim back what I have receipts for but would it be worth asking the doctor for example for copy receipts for visits? Also, does anyone know if chemists could reprint receipts for prescription medicines?

Also, re the surgical removal of wisdom teeth, this is allowed? But I need to get a Med 2 form from the dentist is this correct?
