Medical Expenses & College Fees relief

Hi,

Can someone tell me could my father claim tax relief on Medical expenses and College fees incurred by me even though im a bit old to be referred to as his child given that im 25?

Qualifying and otherwise unreimbursed medical expenses in excess of €125 per year; €250 if claiming for 2 or more people
Expenses for you, your spouse, your children or dependent relatives*
Excludes routine dental and ophthalmic care
Includes prescribed drugs
Relief available at your highest rate of tax.
Leaflet IT 6
Fill in Form Med 1 and Form Med 2 (for qualifying dental treatment expenditure) at the end of the tax year to claim.
* From the IT6 link:
Your child, Any other child, who in the year of the claim, is in your custody and maintained at your expense and under 18 years of age, or if over 18 years of age, is receiving full-time education.
