Medical Card Calculate Travel Expenses

I've done a search but can't find anything! So,what way do you calculate the weekly driving expenses to see if you are eligible for a card?
I seem to remember finding an online briefing document which detailed the calculation but can't find it now:(
The daily commute will be 20 km each way.
 
The last figures I have to hand (from 2007 - not sure if they've changed since) are that the HSE will allow 30c per mile or 18c per km plus a weekly allowance of €50 to cover car loans, etc.
