As far as I am aware, my husband and I are separately assessed for tax. I am claiming back my maternity medical expenses and have logged on as me on the revenue online service. When I enter my details and submit, it is showing the claimed amount under my husband's name and €0 under my name. Does this matter? I read on here in thread below that you can claim for anyone once you pay for it so technically my husband could have paid for these expenses as we both put money into savings and it would have come from there.
Just don't want to make a mistake with Revenue so would appreciate if anyone can offer any help.
