I have two MBNA credit cards both up to their limit. Therefore I pay 2 lots of gov tax on the cards. I would like to ask MBNA to increase my limit on one of them (with the lower interest rate) and transfer the balance from the other card so I only have the one card and pay one fee. It would be nice to get a lower rate as well but if not then fine.
Has anyone done this?
Having read through some other threads I know that people say get a cash transfer and use this to pay the other credit card but I doubt if they would increase my limit enough for this. They are both from MBNA so they wont be losing anything unless they give me the lower interest rate.
