Maxim Lcd Tv Problem

I have an LCD 26" TV,manufacturer is MAXIM.
Screen is not operating however sound is! (screen is black-no picture)
Signal is from NTL box.

Any ideas on what might be wrong?Anywhere in Dublin where i can get it repaired?Dont want to send it back to the factory,its out of guarantee -2 years old.

Also check that the SCART socket into your tv is firmly pushed home
