Maternity, Husband on Jobs seekers Allowance ???????????/FIS

Hi There

Just wondering can anyone advise me are we entitled to FIS, i get €270 maternity per week, My husband is on Job seekers allowance and gets €225, for himself and half rate for 2 child dependents, total household income of €495, Can we qualify for FIS and does anyone know anyelse we can qualify for as we are finding it very hard to meet all our bills at the end of the month.

You must be employed for 19 hours per week minimum and if you qualify for MB you can claim FIS; check out the qualifying conditions for FIS on www.welfare.ie .
