It is proposed to erect a 25 metre support pole carrying 3 x 2.8 metre radio aerials within 200 metres of my family home. This house is located in the middle of the country, 8 miles from the nearest town. I am most concerned at the impact of this mast on the landscape not to mention concerns for the health of my family.

The aerials on this mast are for use by the emergency services and for associated equipment for the National Digital Radio Service.

I am currently preparing an objection to the erection of such a mast and I would appreciate any help in this. Perhaps some readers have experience of my predicament and of objecting to such masts. This mast is in Cork. I believe that Kerry County Council have refused permission to the company seeking to put up these masts.

Please, please help!

for a start, objecting on health grounds will get you nowhere! Objecting on visual appearance etc fair enough that might get you some way or at least ensure the structure is lowest impact visually.
