Marriage reconciliation and tax

Hi guys,

I have a question in terms of taxation when a couple get back together.

Due to marriage separation two and a half years ago etc, we both claimed single parent tax credits, and received tax refunds from the Revenue.

What happens now that we got back together? Is Revenue going to claw back those refunds?

Thanks

Unless Revenue take the view that it wasn't a genuine separation they won't try to claw back the relief. I take it you have informed Revenue of your change in status? If not I would do so as soon as possible so they can correct this year's credits.
