Making a Will

Is it necessary for me to make a will if I intend to leave everything to my wife (no kids as yet).

Probably. It makes things easier and less complex if there is a will, rather than sying intestate.

If there is a will, with an executor, then they can attend to matters quickly, rather than leaving the grieving widow having to get probate. She will have enough on her plate grieving the loss of her beloved. In fact as I write this, I am inclined to think that it would be cruel not to make the will.
