hi all

First time posting here ! Currently starting work on the house in pic attached. Plan is on putting in sash windows . Just wondering if anyone has tips or experience in general of doing up houses like this ? House is on 2 levels . Plan is to do upper level first -

2 ( 20 x 20 foot rooms ) idea is to make kitchen out of one room and sitting room for the other room
1 ( 10 x 20 ) idea is to make one bedroom of this space
1 (15x12 ) idea is to make utility / mud room out of this space
1 ( 10x 10) idea is to
Hall runs through house leading to basement

How would a budget of 50,000 seem to do the above space

- Windows will be all in at this stage
- my aim is to “ get in” ie services , plumbing , electricity , carpentry

House was lived in up to 10 years ago

I have already sourced bathroom applicances , kitchen and furniture .

So really asking an opinion on 50 k for the above

Thanks for taking time to read . First time poster ! Hope the above makes sense .

Edit : folks - can not attach the pic here I’m afraid . Won’t let me will need research how to !

Hi Bernard, welcome to AAM. You won't be able to attach images until you are a Frequent Poster, this is to thwart the spammers.

It will be very difficult for anyone to answer the question without getting much more information on the level of work required, how much you can do yourself, and the standard you hope to achieve.

Is the building protected in any way? That will have significant implications.
