Macbook pro : Where can I type my CV?

I spent my life till recently windows base and much as I stand by decision to go apple ( not intent on starting the big debate) I just don't know where to go to type a document.
I bought the mac refurbished from apple no i life. Fab laptop just want to type a document ?????

I'm sure you have iLife (iMovie, iWeb, iPhoto, iDVD, GarageBand, etc.) but you won't have iWork (Pages, Numbers & Keynote).

There is a (very) basic texteditor called TextEdit installed, but it isn't of a quality to produce complex documents.

I suggest you download and install Neoffice from here http://www.neooffice.org/neojava/en/download.php#download

Its free, has a familiar look and feel to it and produces documents in open format or that are compatible with Micro$oft Office.

Mathepac thank you sooo much. Just getting used to this mac. It's fab only all new to me. I just may get that job yet
