my ex has given me 45,000 to puchase a house .which is equal to 6 years maintance up front.my question is as i am on opa and i will no longer get the 150 a week maintance.will this be taken into account .and should i get a solicitor to verify this as my ex and i have come to our own dessicion on this matter.as it was the only way i could puchase a house for myself and 2 kids.how are lump sum maintanace taken into account with social welfare. thanks..
