I was expecting some clarity on this in the budget. If recent new home buyers are eligible to pay property tax from 1 Nov 2019, they will be valuing at much higher levels than everyone else in the country. The minister was due to alter the valuation methodology so that it would be fair when these houses were brought into the net.
Surely it can't be the case that new home owners will be paying a much higher LPT than everyone else ?
