I'm recently retired and want to convert my pension into an arf.
I will take the 25% lump sum and invest the remaining amount into an arf,a diversifed global equity fund with either ishares or vanguard.
Has anyone any advice as to which provider has the cheepest fees.
Thanks

Probably worth reading this thread.
Standard Life are likely to be in or around the same ballpark in terms of charges.
RLI might have a slight edge when their discretionary ValueShare annual bonus/rebate is factored in - I'm not sure.
But it may also depend on the specific terms offered by the broker that you use.

SL and RLI both offer MSCI World Index trackers.

If you're looking for an execution only service then maybe check out the following:

If you do a search of the site you'll find lots of other threads/posts on the relevant topics.

execution-only.ie might be a player in that space too if it's a RLI product.
To be honest, I get confused with all of your websites and what their specific remit is @GSheehy. Is there a "master" site with links to the others that clarifies matters perhaps?

Afraid not. They all happened at different times so it just suited to set them up this way.

In simple terms:

  • prsa.ie (Zurich Life Only Pensions) & execution-only.ie (Royal London Only Pensions)

  • bond.ie (Zurich Life Only Lump-Sum Investment) & investandsave.ie (Zurich Life Only Regular and Lump-Sum Savings/Investment)
