Hi All

First time posting so go easy on me I have a quick question in relation to renting a house with my partner do you think it is best to rent from an agency or a landlord directly??

That is a very hard question to answer.. You can have good LL's and good agencies. But it can also work the other way. Ask around, word of mouth might help you here. Meet the LL's & agencies and see how you feel.

I agree with Speedwell. Meet with the landlord or agent and make sure to interview them as much as they interview you! Also make sure the person you meet is the person who will manage the property. Sometimes the agent you meet is just there to let the apartment but you find its actually managed by an amateur landlord!
