Looking for painter/price guide in Co. Cork area

Hi all,
We are looking to get our 3 bed semi-detached house painted. We will be getting most of interior (walls, ceilings, skirting, doors etc.) painted as well as front exterior, house is pretty small about 950 sq. feet.
I would appreciate any recommendations for painters/decoraters as well as any approximate ideas on cost. House is 5 years old and was all magnolia, I have painted some of it myself in the past and it's looked fine but we want to get it done professionally so all advice appreciated. Thanks
 
A friend of mine used a painter named Paul O' Sullivan. He works on his own and she found him very good. He lives in the city but He would probably travel, depending on how far out you are. His number is 086 3539487.
 
My advice would be to check your painters refs properly and decide whether or not you plan to get him to do the entire house (inside and outside) or to do part of it.

You can pay him 2 different ways by the day or by the job I tend to go by the day myself (leave it to painter to move stuff around) but most people perfer to do it by the job, it really depends on whether or not you can trust your painter or not.

If you plan to do it by the job you really should clear a room out for him to do his thing.

I don't know what the rates are down in Cork but up in Dublin they are between €100 and €200 per day.

I'm sure you could get someone for €80 a day if you tried (just keep an eye on them).
