Is there any way my bank can tell me if I lodged cash or cheque or both, and who the cheque was from?
On an nine month old lodgment?
 
Your statement would probably clarify if the lodgement was cash or by cheque. If you don't have a copy then you can get one from your bank but they may charge an admin fee. As for who the payer was on a cheque I'm not sure if the bank would retain such details. Probably easiest to ask them.
