I'm new here and would greatly appreciate any/all advice you could give me. I want to know whether it is possible for someone who is not a homeowner to refinance two loans. I have a credit union loan and a loan from the Bank of Ireland which total at about 30k. I had managed to get both lenders to allow me to pay the loans back over a longer period of time with smaller monthly payments. However, since I did that, I lost my job and have had to take on a less well paid one. I now earn roughly 22k p.a. gross. My family will be able to help me pay off one of the loans in a few months but I'm really worried about making the repayments until then. Any ideas?
