I have just learned that the council have bought the house next door to me. There are wooden panels separating the back gardens. Anybody who has these overlap panels will know that they get damaged easily in windy weather or rot or dogs chew through them e.t.c.
When they got damaged in the past myself and neighbour went 50/50 on the cost to replace.
If this happens when the council tennant moves in- Are the council responsible for paying half of the fee or is the council tennant or are neither of them.
Will I need to pay the full cost if I want it replaced.
Any thoughts?
