living abroad but paid by Irish Co as contractor

If I am living outside of Ireland but get paid to do contract work for an Irish company, do I have to charge VAT?

Are you VAT registered already?
If so, are you VAT registered in Ireland or in your country of residence?
I assume you will be performing the work outside Ireland - is this actually the case?
Will you be submitting an invoice to the Irish company in Ireland, or in an overseas office?
