Using advice I received from this website, I installed Xubuntu on my old laptop.
It was good advice, I am using my Xubuntu laptop to type this message.
All things considered, its a good alternative to XP, getting wifi and other stuff to work takes a bit of time, but its worth it.
How do I back it up ? I use a 5 year old copy of Norton Ghost to backup XP. My copy of Ghost doesn't work with Xubuntu (I tried it, it backed up Xubuntu, but when I ghosted the image to my hard drive, it didn't work.
Anybody know if the latest Ghost will work with Xubuntu, has anybody tried it ?
I want to put my Xubuntu installation on to a bigger hard drive.
Any alternatives to ghost I can use, I did check forums, but didn't get a definitive answer.
