Life Tenant in a will

I was wondering, in general terms, how a life beneficiary is usually created in a will ?
Does the grantor need to create a trust, therefore a trustee, to manage all aspects of it?
Or can the grantor simply leave the property to a named beneficiary "for life" and then to named beneficiary remainderman ?

Are you looking for a precedent will clause? Try Laffoy.

Trusts have to be set up very clearly and the wording is very important, so if unsure get the necessary expertise.

Thank you
Not really after the actual wording as such. i was just wondering is a life beneficary always part of a trust?
For example a life tenant to a property may not have ownership, but otherwise has complete control of that property during their lifetime.
what is the role of the trustee in that situation ?

Perhaps On a Plain it would be better if you explained to us why you need to house someone this way. Then you'd get more pertinent advice to what you are at.
