Life insurance

[Need info]

Just a query if anyone can help...
I took out life insurance 18 months ago, I have since moved house and need to update the policy to my new address, increase the amount of cover and the term.

My question is do I need to go for another medical for this life insurance to be approved, any answers much appreciated.

We're in a similar situation. When I called our broker I was told it was cheaper to get a new policy as you can't increase the term on the policy we had taken out. We got a cheaper quote with another insurance company so had to fill in all the forms again.

You will have to apply for new cover because the amount of cover i assume is more and the term is probably different.If u did a medical the last time ,you will more than likely have to do one again ,but that depends on the life assurance company .You should try a broker,who should give you good advice.Try www.firststep.ie
