For non smokers, cover remaining level for term, it's €44 a month or €48 if you want it to pay on a dual life basis (potentially 2 pay outs)

Indexed linked cover starts at €46 per month. A comparison of total cost needs to be done. This cover increases at 8% per annum which will result in you paying more over the long term.

You could also go with cover where a monthly income is paid out for a certain amount of time and a smaller lump sum. It can be cheaper and you don't have to worry about the surviving spouse spending the lump sum too quickly or making a bad investment.
