Life Cash Cover (Block) Irish Life

Hi

Any feedback appreciated here. On the above, my mortgage arranged directly with Permanent TSB and the mortgage protection as above.

Does any one know if the reference to "Block" means that this is part of a group arrangement?

I know from the Financial Regulator site that some lenders use a group policy and if you decide to change lender the cover automatically stops.

This is what we have/had with PTSB also, soon to be changed.
When we change lender the policy will automatically stop, ie you cannot move the policy if you switch lender.
However we still have to write a letter to state we wish to cancel the policy.
Not sure if this answers your question? Are you referring to something else with the group question?
