We are about to let our apartment.
I seem to recall that, legally speaking, a tenant had more rights if he rented unfurnished rather than furnished.
A friend tells me that under the new act this is no longer the case.
Can anyone clear this up, please?
We would prefer to let the apartment unfurnished. This is the first letting and we don't want to incur the expense of furnishing it.
On the other hand......does anyone have any views on the pros and cons (if any) of the furnished/unfurnished debate?
