letshost.ie - not receiving some emails

hi, i am using letshost.ie and find them pretty good but i am not receiving emails from certain people.. A lot from eircom.net and various others.. Letshost say they are only responsible for what leaves their server and there must be a problem with senders provider.
Anyone else have such a problem?
I'm thinking of switching to another host..
Any recommendations?

Have you tested it in both directions yourself?

ie. sending a mail to an eircom.net address and from an eircom.net address to you?

I wouldn't expect a host to take responsibility for a 3rd party's mail, but I presume they've checked logs etc., for you?
 
Thanks.. I did yes.. Going to switch off spam filter and see what happens..
