I am leaving Ireland next month to take a job in the UK

Will I be entitled to a refund on my tax paid so far this year?

It all depends on how long you will be out of the country for.
If you are leaving permanently or indefinitely, and you break Irish residence, you will be entitled to your tax credits for the full year agains the income earned so far, so should be due a tax refund.

If you are leaving for a short time and do not break Irish tax residence, you will be taxable in Ireland on any income you earn in the UK.
