LCD or Plasma

Considering buying a 42" plasma or LCD.

Dont know much about anyone no the pros and cons of each ?

personally, lcd much better picture plus the gas in plasma runs out where as lcd doesnt need gas.

Oh dear!!! The gas doesn't run out!! Modern plamsas have a 60000+ hour life span. Thats 16 hours a day for 10 years...

As for picture quality, that's subjective, take a look at this link to see how they perform over the standard pq areas.

Isn't LCD cheaper on electricity? Shouldn't this be a factor with rising costs?
