I was just wondering if anyone knew how to get crayon off an LCD TV? My 2 year old nephew decided he was picasso last night during a 'sleepover' and so my TV is a right mess.

Waxy crayons should never be given to kids.

Could I put a hairdryer on or near it? Any other suggestions would be very welcome.

WD40 is great for removing crayon but I don't know if it would have an effect on the LCD screen surface, I suspect it should be fine but It might be worth checking with the TV supplier.

Baby wipes should work, but again I don't know about their effect on the surface. You can get LCD cleaner wipes and screen cleaner, so they are probably a safer option (I don't know what the difference between the two is). Windowlene and a soft cloth is another option. Make sure you don't run hard and don't let any windowlene/LCD screen cleaner drip into the corners as they might leak in.

One sure thing will work... in the cleaning section of your supermarket they will have cleaning sponges called Killeens. They are amazing.... they get stuff off walls as well. They have an equivilant in Lidl also - works just as good.
