Laya Simplicity Renewal

Hi,

We are two adults (mid 40s) renewing our policy. Our renewal is €2,463.94 for Laya Simplicity.

We moved to this plan last year from Simply Health Excess as Simplicity was cheaper even though it had better coverage. We paid €2,380 last year.

I know there have been price reductions in VHI is it time to look at them again? Ideally we would like to keep our current level of insurance but we would be happy with a plan with similar coverage to Simply Health Excess. Any advice?

The 2 best priced plans from 1 July 2018 are as follows;

1. Laya Simply Connect; price 1100pa from 1/7/2018; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered. Private hospital excess 150 x 2 max
per year for all admissions, day case excess 50 per visit. Good day to day cover included, 50 refund for all expenses.

2. VHI Company Plan Plus Level 1.3; price 1123pa; all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals covered. Private hospital excess 150 per admission
or 50 per day case procedure. Good day to day cover included.
