No, Control 300 Create has better hospital cover as it fully covers a private room in a private hospital.
It also has slightly better day to day cover overall, the only minor negative is the 300 excess per admission to a private or hi-tech hospital.
Laya Inspire plan while a good plan, the big downside is the 500 per night shortfall for Mater Private and Blackrock Clinic.
The Blackrock Clinic will waive this shortfall, in other words, they don't charge this shortfall onto the patient, so there is full cover in this hospital.
But Mater Private will charge the 500 per night, so if this hospital is important to you, then Inspire Plan is not a suitable option.
There is a different plan called Inspire Plus plan @ price 1286pa, which is like Simply Connect but with a bigger day to day allowance. refund upto
1,000 per year. It also has a capped excess of 150 x 1 per year for all private/hi-tech admissions per year, but a 20% shortfall for orthopaedic surgery.
