Hi there, just wondering if anyone knew if it would be ok to plant bare root laurel hedging in the cumin week.. Am in South-East Ireland..

Yes, perfect time you may need to water if we dont get rain soon, and laurel is a very hardy and durable hedge. It gets very strong and wide if not clipped every couple of years. Good luck Browtal

i think it would be better to wait till end of august beginning of september ,otherwise you will be driven mad watering it all summer

The time to sow bare root Laurel is from late October to the end of March/early April. The potted laurel plants that you can sow all year round are much more expensive.

Hi, we have laurel hedging mixed with red robin set for past 2 years. It seems to be coming along well, but anyone got any hints or tips? From reading this, i guess i should be watering it regularly, which I havent been doing. Should I be feeding it?
