Got Medal of Honour 4 while away it will not work on my Dell Inspirion 1525 is the video card not good enough? Is there any way to get it working?

Probably not since laptop video cards are rarely upgradeable. Have you searched for info about that game or games in general on that laptop or on whatever graphics card it has?

I looked at that game - requries pretty hefty processor and video card (for a laptop, anyway).

Games will have the "minimum system requirements" specified on the box, These will be expressed in terms of the Operating System, processor speed, system memory and graphics card memory and speed.

As posted already, it would be unusual for a budget laptop graphics card to be capable of running a high-end game, BUT, with some games, it may be possible to reduce the frame-rate, game graphics resolution to get the game to run, although this performance may not be satisfactory for end-user enjoyment.

Post the output of this program
and I'll advise if you should be able to play the game
of if something else is hindering the machines performance.

Why would no one look up the spec of the Laptop???

The Dell 1525 has onboard Intel 3100 graphics. Which are not powerful enough to play 3D games like COD4. Which needs a middle of the road 3D card as a min. That laptop will never play 3D games. End of story.

I didn't lookup the spec of the machine because

1/ Laptops can be customised.
2/ I like to help people help themselves.
3/ Depending on the type of card, system memory can be used, using SIW would tell me all I need to know in one post.
