Landlord insurance - Accidental Damage

Renewing my landlord insurance and only realised that accidental cover is not offered. Does anyone know any insurance company in Ireland that offers this cover. I find it hard to comprehend that it a tenant leaves a tap on and causes loads of damage that I have to chase the tenants for the cost of repair. That just seems crazy?? I doubt they would have any surplus money

Does every landlord not bother with accidental cover and hope for the best??
 
Plenty that do it - Allianz, RSA, Covercentre, AXA. you just have to prepared to pay the extra for it.
 
Thanks for that. I'm with Allianz and they won't offer cover. I mean accidental damage by tenants. Eg tap left on and house all water damaged etc
 
Accidenal is accidental. They offer it on some policies I have for clients.
 
Some insurance policies sold to landlords do not offer public liability insurance. Beware
