Land Rover Discovery 3

Thinking of buying the new discovery3 commercial. Has anyone experienced driving/owning one?
I've heard all good/bad about 4x4s and dont know what to choose but the new discovery3 looks special..although all engines including the 2.5v6 are not so good on desiel..
Any views?
