Kitchen Machines

Could anyone supply information about Tefal Actifry machines available in Argos and Arnotts and costing over 200 euro. Supposed to be a new way of cooking and claims to do sufficient chips for 4 people using only one teaspoonful of oil. Would like opinions of others who have used this item to avoid making expensive mistake. Are claims for it justified or is it just a covered fryer.

Thanks Hoagy for directing me to that website. I read through it fully including all the comments. Despite a small number of satisfied customers, it seems the great majority seem to have had a negative experience with the Actifry, ande I find as reported, it's tendency to go on fire and emit sparks very worrying. Taking the verdict overall and maybe an unsatisfactory response from Tefal, I don't think I will be buying any time shortly.
