Is is common to mix this with other stones
A friend of mine mixed it with laois stone and it is not bad looking
Kilgarvan stone is a blue/green stone found in county kerry for those who dont know it
Does anyone know the going rate for this stone with a morter joint??

Yes, my brother has used Kilgarvan stone on his house outside Killarney & it stands on its own as regard a visual look. It needs to be the dry look with no visible signs of the mortar. I plan to use the same as the two houses are of the same plans, beside each other.
As a matter of interest, how much, per sqm, have you been quoted. My brother completed his in the boom times & it cost him €8,500 at least, front elevation only.
