Hi
On my laptop at home the "E", "W" and "Z" keys are not working, i have removed the keys and cleaned around them but still no joy. Does anyone have anyother ideas of what i should try to get it going?

Also is there a way to get the virtual keyboard on the screen for Windows Vista, can't find it myself
Cheers in advance

Maybe boot into something other than the installed version of Windows (I presume) - e.g. the BIOS, the original install CD (but don't reinstall!) or a live bootable CD version of GNU/Linux (see www.distrowatch.com) etc. and see if they work there. If they do then it's a problem with your existing OS installation. Otherwise at least you then know that it's a hardware problem.

You sure you don't have num-lock turned on (easy to do on a laptop without realising) or that it hasn't defaulted to some strange language which has often hapened to me without realising until all the wrong letters come up
